Mr Vivek Nama underwent further formal training in Gynaecology Oncology after acquiring skills and experience to hone his expertise in the field. He also authored various papers and book chapters and conducted meta-analyses for Cochrane reviews, demonstrating his high calibre for research. In recognition of his achievements, Mr Vivek Nama received a visiting Fellowship at Memorial Sloane Kettering Hospital in the US, where he learned some of the best practices in cancer care. Mr Vivek served as the Research Lead in Gyn Oncology and undergraduate teaching. During his tenure, he secured a charitable grant to investigate the identification of biomarkers that could predict response to chemotherapy in ovarian cancer and recurrence rates. He had an immensely fulfilling experience working in the academic world for two years.
